Biography
Prof Ros Bramwell gained her honours degree in Psychology from the University of Bradford and her PhD from the University of Manchester. Throughout her career she has worked at the Universities of Manchester, Central Lancashire and Liverpool before taking up her post as Professor, Head of Psychology and, later, Associate Dean at the University of Chester. Although now retired, she continues to collaborate with colleagues on research, especially focusing on mentoring early career researchers.
Teaching and Supervision
Prof Bramwell has specialised in teaching research methods. Throughout her career she has taught not only psychology students but also a range of other health professionals and has taught at all levels from level 4 undergraduates to doctoral students. She has extensive experience in postgraduate research supervision and has acted as external examiner at all levels.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Professor Bramwell has a strong interest in research methodology and has worked on a range of multidisciplinary research projects.
