"If you’re thinking of studying at Chester, I’d say go for it and make the most of it! Don’t just study in your room - go and join the events that the university hosts, ask questions, talk to lecturers, make friends, and put yourself out there!"
Before coming to the University of Chester, I was studying Life Sciences in Singapore. I chose to study in the UK as I wanted a global education experience that was completely different from my home country, and a chance to see how things really work in Healthcare and Biotechnology in the UK.
I’ve always been interested in Medical Science, and Chester was one of the few places offering a hands-on course that covered everything from Human Physiology to Lab Skills. The support here has been amazing, and the lecturers are genuinely helpful and really care about students.
Chester itself is super peaceful and charming. I love walking by the River Dee, checking out historic spots, or just relaxing in local cafes with my friends. The university even hosts conferences where you can present your own research, which is pretty cool.
